The First Scientific Meeting "Giovanna Tosi" was a great success! The Meeting was attended by more than 80 participants.

The Meeting was introduced by the Rector of the University of Insubria, Prof. Alberto Coen Porisini. A major event was the  "Giovanna Tosi Award 2017" which was assigned to Prof. Lorenzo Moretta, Director of the Immunology Center at  Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome, for his fundamental discoveries on the function of Natural Killer cells in health and disease, particularly  in human cancer.
